Join the Movement: United in Motion

United in Motion is Danzone’s annual community giving campaign, bringing people together through dance to support organizations that strengthen our communities.

Each month, we partner with a nonprofit organization whose work strengthens our community through immigrant advocacy, child and youth support, family services, or other community-centered initiatives. Through pledged classes, special events, and community partnerships, we raise both funds and awareness for organizations whose work aligns with our mission of strengthening families, expanding opportunities, and building more resilient communities.

Our belief is simple:

This month, United in Motion is proud to support Amor Al Valle, a grassroots mutual aid organization serving families throughout the Northeast San Fernando Valley.

Amor Al Valle organizes volunteers to purchase and deliver groceries directly to families who are unable to safely leave their homes because of concerns surrounding immigration enforcement. Volunteers shop from each family’s grocery list, ensuring households receive the foods they actually need while preserving dignity and providing practical support during challenging times. Their work is rooted in dignity, compassion, and the belief that communities thrive when neighbors show up for one another.

80% of funds raised through our pledged classes this month will be donated directly to support Amor Al Valle’s work in our community.

United in Motion is more than a fundraiser.

It’s a growing movement that invites dancers, instructors, studios, businesses, and community members to use their gifts to care for others.

Last year, together with our community and several instructors from outside of Danzone, we raised more than $5,000 for Public Counsel through pledged classes.

This year, we’re expanding the movement by supporting a different community organization each month and inviting even more people to participate.
